I am a Portland, Oregon native and am happy to now be in Vancouver, Washington. I live with my husband of eighteen years, 11-year-old son, and energetic Scottie dog. I have lived in many different places, including New York, Maine, and Japan but am happiest here in the Northwest. I enjoy camping, playing Sunday league softball, crafting, gardening, going to the movies, cooking, and time with family and friends.

Angie Hughes Homes 
If anyone is in the market to buy or sell a house, do yourself a favor and go through Angela Hughes. She stuck with us for about a year of looking for the perfect home, which wasn’t easy as this was a tumultuous year for us. May 2016 we lost our home to a fire and the need for a home became immediate after 6 months of passively looking at the market. Angie was there for us night and day sending us pages of listings and constantly checking to make sure houses were still active so we can look immediately as we were staying in a hotel. When we were interested in looking at a specific house, she had the keys within hours. Angie knew what to look for in a home so that we wouldn’t be stuck with a “fixer”, we needed move in ready as I am now 8 months pregnant and have a toddler as well. After about 2 weeks of non stop looking we found our home, Angie wrote up our offer letter that day and sent it over immediately. She was on top of every part of the process, as we were 1st time home buyers and had NO clue. We totally relied on her and she definitely went above and beyond. With all the stress we were going through we needed someone like Angie to help us, her kindness and compassion really made a difference in this “dog eat dog” real-estate world.
